Python Software Engineer (eCommerce)

What you will do

• Research and build Python integrations with external eCommerce APIs.
• Own feature implementation from initial design to production delivery.
• Collaborate in an agile environment via code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Improve application reliability and robustness.
• Work with a tech stack including Python 3.14, SQL, Postgres, asyncio, and aiohttp.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Python.
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST, and GraphQL frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Postgres).
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and the command-line.
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
• Availability to work from the Utrecht office at least 2 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with concurrent applications and asyncio.
• Knowledge of distributed systems.
• DevOps mindset (bringing code to production daily).
• Experience with the LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
