Platform Administrator

Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA (Onsite)

Salary: $55,000–$106,000

What you will do

• Provision and issue IT equipment to end users while maintaining an accurate inventory database.
• Administer and maintain Apple products and operating systems.
• Support Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments including Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, and AWS.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to the user community in a timely manner.
• Manage hardware and software assets, including license tracking.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active DoD Secret clearance required (with ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or HS Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Linux/Unix and MacOS environments
• Experience with imaging workstations
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Nice to have

• DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification
• Experience with virtualization automation and optimization
• Proficiency in writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures
