Training & Site Compliance H&S Specialist

Location: Nerviano, Milan, Italy

Salary: Minimum €39,000 annually, plus pension, private medical insurance, wellbeing and flexible benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the site HSE training matrix, competency requirements and mandatory training programs.
• Manage contractor inductions, onboarding, refresher training, emergency response training and HSE awareness initiatives.
• Administer the HSE Learning Management System, training records, competency documentation and effectiveness KPIs.
• Develop and maintain the site HSE Management System, including procedures, standards, work instructions and digital document workflows.
• Coordinate Seveso, Major Accident Prevention Policy, Safety Management System and emergency-response competence activities.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation, audits, management reviews, corrective actions and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, industrial chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, occupational safety or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in HSE management within pharmaceutical, chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing and managing training programs and knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Good knowledge of Italian HSE legislation.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic document management systems such as Veeva.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Project management, document governance and process-standardization experience.
• Analytical skills for KPI monitoring and continuous improvement.
