What you will do

• Support daily print publishing operations to ensure production deadlines and business commitments are met.
• Monitor and operate business-critical publishing systems and workflows throughout the production lifecycle.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents across publishing systems and integrations.
• Coordinate production activities with Editorial, Advertising, Distribution, and external print partners.
• Develop and enhance operational tooling, automation, and monitoring capabilities using AWS and cloud services.
• Improve operational documentation, runbooks, and observability to increase system resilience.

Requirements

• Experience supporting business-critical operational or production services.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in deadline-driven environments.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, or operational support tooling.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted or distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office under a 50% hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Experience with print publishing, newspaper production, or media operations.
• Proficiency with AWS and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, or Graphite.
• Experience with publishing systems like Methode, Arkitex, or Asura.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or workflow automation technologies.
