Location: Basingstoke, United Kingdom. Must be based in the UK and able to work from the office at least 3 days a week.

What you will do

• Monitor Authorization TPF and OVN computer consoles to provide first-level response to system issues.
• Manage, track, and resolve incidents, changes, and problem reports using ServiceNow.
• Liaise with L2/L3 support and development groups to collaborate on the resolution of system events.
• Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of support procedures and resolution steps.
• Provide activity oversight for System Specialists during assigned shifts.
• Maintain operational stability in a 24x7x365 multi-datacenter processing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on experience supporting critical applications based on IBM TPF or open-source distributed systems (Linux, Kubernetes, Kafka).
• Experience with Unix, MVS, VM, DB2, Splunk, or Cassandra.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and incident management skills.
• ITIL Foundation Certificate (or ability to obtain it within 6 months).
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
