Production Manager

What you will do

• Own day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-schedule manufacturing.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily manufacturing activities and production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Manage production resources, machinery, and equipment to maximize uptime.
• Monitor production performance using KPIs and operational standards; manage risks and escalate issues to senior management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• Significant experience managing manufacturing or production teams in an engineering environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Experience driving productivity and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach and confidence communicating with stakeholders across departments.
