What you will do

• Prepare and file multi-jurisdictional monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
• Reconcile sales tax reports, payroll reports, and related general ledger accounts.
• Maintain tax rate tables and exemption certificates while resolving inquiries from tax authorities.
• Assist with sales tax audits and monitor changes in tax laws to evaluate their impact on operations.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Sales, and IT departments to ensure proper tax treatment and compliance.
• Participate in ERP system implementations and special tax/payroll-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance or accounting.
• Experience with tax software (Avalara, Vertex, Sovos) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be based in Orlando, FL for this in-office position.
