Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the New York City office 3 days per week

Salary: $200,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Engineer high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested backend services.
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define system evolution and business goals.
• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for complex systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and delivering SaaS products.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with software development best practices including testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Must be able to work in the New York City office 3 days per week.

• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks.
