What you will do

• Design and maintain highly scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from technical design through to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and optimize core APIs and integration layers.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to CI/CD and automated testing best practices.
• Drive architectural decisions and lead technical design discussions for system performance and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level software engineers to drive engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Engineer building complex distributed systems in production.
• Deep technical proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or Java.
• Practical experience building or integrating AI agent frameworks, LLM applications, or vector databases.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and message-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/caching solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience building systems for large-scale data integration from enterprise platforms like SAP or Workday.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD).
