What you will do

• Lead architecture and design reviews across R&D to shape technical proposals for AI and data-driven systems.
• Design and build core backend platform services and SDKs, including authentication, eventing, and data access.
• Develop the AI enablement layer, including shared LLM gateways, prompt and agent frameworks, and model routing.
• Establish platform processes such as service templates and release workflows to increase engineering velocity.
• Build end-to-end observability for AI features using structured logging, distributed tracing, and regression detection.
• Research and prototype the adoption of new AI tooling and agent frameworks into the platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend/software engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
• Proven experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Kafka, SQS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying LLM agents to production using frameworks like Langgraph or Langchain.
• Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
