What you will do

• Define the technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering standards to support platform scale.
• Manage, mentor, and recruit engineering talent while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Maintain deep hands-on involvement by writing and reviewing code and leading technical initiatives.
• Oversee the full technology landscape including backend, frontend, DevOps, and infrastructure.
• Embed security-first practices across the entire development and deployment lifecycle.
• Integrate AI-assisted development and automation to accelerate engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong background in leadership.
• Proven ability to manage and grow engineering teams in a high-volume environment.
• Deep technical expertise across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and security.
• Strong product judgment and ability to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Must be able to work in-office in Tel Aviv or Cyprus.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AWS ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, iGaming, social networks, streaming, or fintech.
• Background in elite Israeli technology units (e.g., Unit 8200, Unit 81).
• Founder or early-stage startup experience.
