What you will do

• Develop, train, and refine transformer-based architectures for large-scale scRNA data.
• Apply pretraining, self-supervision, and transfer learning techniques from NLP and vision to biological data.
• Design principled experiments and perform ablations to analyze model behavior and guide improvements.
• Analyze large, noisy biological datasets to build intuition for model behavior.
• Partner with engineers, data scientists, and biology experts to implement research ideas into working systems.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in deep learning and training large-scale models.
• Experience with transformer-based architectures.
• Ability to plan and analyze complex research experiments.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Ramat Gan, Israel.
