What you will do

• Define and execute portfolio strategies to ensure sustainable growth, market leadership, and long-term value.
• Monitor and optimize portfolio performance across submissions, publications, revenue, and quality KPIs.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Editors-in-Chief, research leaders, and scientific societies in China.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing publishing team through coaching, feedback, and clear goal alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape and execute the regional growth strategy for China.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in journal publishing and scholarly communications.
• Deep expertise in the Chinese and global research ecosystems.
• Proven track record of portfolio development, business development, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong network and credibility within the scientific research community.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in developing talent and managing high-performing teams.
• Must be based in or able to work in Shanghai or Beijing.
