What you will do

• Deliver 3rd level technical support in compliance with customer SLAs.
• Manage daily compute operations including events, incidents, and change requests following ITIL processes.
• Perform server installation, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Handle storage operations based on NetApp-NFS and manage OS image maintenance.
• Execute patch management using BladeLogic Automation and configure server-related monitoring alerts.
• Conduct performance analysis, root cause analysis, and provide knowledge transfer to 2nd level support teams.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in server management and Linux administration.
• Profound experience in Linux OS operations and physical/VM server maintenance.
• Knowledge of hypervisor operations (XEN and VMware).
• Strong proficiency in LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables.
• Associate-level knowledge in at least one public cloud landscape (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and public holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools like Chef and scripting in Bash or Perl.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, Prometheus, Docker, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of central infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Nagios, and repository management.
