What you will do

• Provision, configure, and monitor Debian-based virtual machines across Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and OLVM using Cinc (Chef) and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain configuration management cookbooks and playbooks to ensure infrastructure consistency.
• Onboard servers into internal monitoring systems and Grafana, configuring SNMP-based alerting.
• Operate shared infrastructure services including RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Graylog, Postfix, and BIND DNS.
• Manage security updates, firewall configurations (iptables, F5 LTM/GTM), and TLS certificate lifecycles.
• Participate in incident response, disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization projects like hypervisor migrations.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals: systemd, networking (VLANs, DNS, NTP), filesystems, and LDAP.
• Experience with Ansible or Chef/Cinc configuration management.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, or KVM/OLVM.
• Basic Bash scripting and the ability to modify existing Python scripts.
• Must be based in Georgia
• English: Good written skills required

Nice to have

• Experience administering RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, or Graylog.
• Familiarity with Postfix mail relay or F5 LTM/GTM load balancers.
• Exposure to Docker and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of Percona MySQL, TeamCity CI/CD, or enterprise backup solutions like Veeam.
