What you will do
- Understand technical and non-technical business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Design and implement ETL flows, database architectures, and automated data management processes.
- Build data solutions that support downstream analytics, reporting, and self-service access.
- Create validation reports and mechanisms to identify data issues and trends.
- Use cloud-based technologies to develop ETL and database solutions.
- Document technical specifications and applications, collaborate with team members, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- Engineering or science graduate with 5+ years of IT or technology experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ETL data flows using Databricks, Dataiku, Python, Talend, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience using SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or similar databases.
- Ability to understand data relationships, analyze data, debug issues, and translate business requirements into technical code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a strong focus on quality and results.
Nice to have
- Experience with Informatica, DataStage, or similar ETL tools.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Understanding of CRM applications.
