What you will do

• Design, build, and ship LLM-powered features including chatbots, agents, and RAG-based search systems.
• Architect sophisticated autonomous agents using frameworks like LangGraph and Google ADK.
• Treat context engineering as code by implementing versioning, testing, and evaluation for model configurations.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering to deploy AI applications on GCP and optimize MLOps infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, guardrails, and security controls to ensure production reliability and minimize model failures.
• Stay current with the GenAI landscape and share best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain
• Degree in a quantitative or engineering field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Software Engineer.
• Strong Python skills with solid software engineering fundamentals including APIs, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience building and orchestrating LLM agents and managing context windows.
• Proficiency in LLM evaluation methods and production feedback loops.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and shipping services to production.
• English proficiency required

Nice to have

• Experience fine-tuning or distilling open-weights models.
• Exposure to MLOps/LLMOps tooling such as MLflow, Vertex AI, or Kubeflow.
• Background in NLP.
