What you will do

• Perform CFD analyses for the aerodynamic and aerothermal design of turbofan engine components and subsystems.
• Optimize airflow performance across engine modules, including inlets, fans, compressors, and turbines.
• Evaluate aerodynamic losses, efficiency, operability, and cooling effectiveness.
• Conduct whole-engine integrated flow analyses to support engine and aircraft integration.
• Develop and improve CFD methodologies, simulation workflows, and automated reporting tools.
• Correlate simulation results with rig and engine test data to improve model accuracy.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Turbomachinery, Fluid Dynamics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience performing CFD analysis within aerospace propulsion, gas turbines, or turbomachinery.
• Strong understanding of compressor and turbine aerodynamics, turbulence modelling, and heat transfer.
• Experience supporting engine performance analysis and aerodynamic design.
• Must be located in or able to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or equivalent software.
• Experience with meshing tools including ICEM CFD and TurboGrid.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, and HPC computing environments for automation.
• Awareness of AI-assisted engineering and digital design methods.
