What you will do

• Design and extend software for large-scale test systems across multiple software layers.
• Develop operating software for capital equipment and factory information systems.
• Diagnose and solve complex system problems in collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineers.
• Collaborate with a global design team to maintain and evolve the product.
• Perform moderate travel within the US and to Southeast Asia.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with C# .NET on Windows using Visual Studio.
• Solid experience developing distributed and multi-threaded applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design (OOD).
• Must be based in North Reading, MA for primarily on-site work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Background in semiconductors or the test equipment industry.
• Experience with Machine Vision, WPF, capital equipment, or factory integration.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and database programming.
