What you will do

• Develop reliability program plans, block diagrams, allocation models, FMECA, and FTA.
• Provide design-for-reliability feedback and assistance during design reviews.
• Develop and implement testing plans, including the setup and maintenance of reliability test fixtures.
• Predict the life of components and system reliability based on subsystem testing.
• Conduct failure analysis and lead failure review boards to suggest design improvements.
• Perform data analysis using reliability techniques such as Weibull, Duane, and Crow-AMSAA.

Requirements

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum experience: 8 years with a Bachelor's, 6 years with a Master's, or 3 years with a Doctorate.
• 3+ years of experience specifically within the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in the reliability of mechanical, opto-mechanical, electronic, and laser systems.
• Proficiency in data acquisition and control software.
• Work authorization and ability to work onsite in Milpitas, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Reliasoft applications (e.g., Weibull++, Blocksim, Xfracas).
• Experience with electron beam sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
