TL;DR

AI Product Owner (AI): Leading the lifecycle of AI/ML products to improve member experiences and optimize internal operations with an accent on generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation. Location: Remote (USA). Must be based in the US, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Maine.

Salary: $95,118 - $120,330 USD (Target range)

What you will do

• Define the AI vision, strategy, and roadmap for capabilities across the organization's ecosystem.
• Identify high-value opportunities for predictive analytics, generative AI, and automation within internal workflows and member touchpoints.
• Own and prioritize the AI product backlog, translating business needs into clear user stories and technical requirements.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and collaborate with full-stack developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure models adhere to HIPAA regulations and ethical AI guidelines.
• Establish success KPIs and monitor production performance to drive iterative enhancements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Agile Product Management, with 1–2 years specifically managing AI, ML, or data-heavy products.
• Foundational understanding of Generative AI, NLP, predictive modeling, and the data science lifecycle.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Must be based in the US (excluding specific restricted states).
• English: Proficiency required for US-based collaboration.
• Ability to provide high-speed non-cellular internet (min 30x5 Mbps) and a dedicated quiet space for HIPAA compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or federal employee health benefit programs (FEHB).
• CSPO or Pragmatic Institute certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, AWS SageMaker) and data architecture (Kafka, Snowflake, Fabric).
