Manufacturing Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain and update technical manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical direction to internal teams and oversee external vendors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve downtime events and improve equipment efficiency.
• Provide daily support for manufacturing operations and maintenance activities.
• Identify and resolve safety and ergonomics issues on the production floor.
• Develop technical training manuals and facilitate training for team members.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering support role within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to work C-shift, weekends, and overtime as required

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering support
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes (grinding, drilling, milling, turning)
• Experience with statistical analysis and GD&T
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis
