Salary: $102,400–$153,600 USD

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and daily support for multiple product families within the Stapling portfolio.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for in-service operational issues.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and product costs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop design changes to enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to qualify components and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze service and maintenance data to improve system sustainability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Background in manufacturing and designing efficient machine layouts and processes.
• Ability to work 5 days a week onsite in North Haven, CT.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP (BPCS) systems and Agile change management processes.
• Knowledge of automated/semi-automated inspection and assembly systems (Cognex, Keyence).
• Proficiency in process control, GD&T, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with stamping, machining, and injection molding processes.
