What you will do

• Design and release custom busbar assemblies and tap-off boxes specifically for data center environments.
• Develop 2D and 3D SolidWorks models and high-quality technical drawings based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to execute trial runs for first-of-a-kind designs and support the transition to mass production.
• Ensure all designs strictly adhere to industry standards (ANSI, ISO) and regulatory requirements (UL, CSA, ETL).
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Work directly with the manufacturing shop floor to resolve design issues and ensure smooth implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication (steel, copper, aluminum), welding, and machining.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship (H-1B, etc.) is not available.
