What you will do

• Provide expert advisory on EU, OFAC, and OFSI sanctions and export controls for assigned entities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and conduct impact analyses to ensure alignment with internal controls.
• Develop, implement, and oversee sanctions and export control policies across the group.
• Support name screening, transaction filtering, and trade restriction compliance.
• Manage sanctions-related escalations and engage with EU regulators and supervisory bodies.
• Lead sanctions training and workshops to align controls with AML/CFT frameworks.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial crime compliance, sanctions, or trade restrictions within the financial or payments industry.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a sanctions advisory or FCC officer role.
• Expert knowledge of German and EU sanctions, with a strong understanding of OFAC and OFSI frameworks.
• Mandatory proficiency in English and German.
• Recognized FCC certifications such as ACAMS Sanctions Specialist or ICA Sanctions Compliance.
• Experience interacting with EU regulators or international supervisory bodies.
