What you will do

• Maintain an end-to-end view of the Markets Operations control environment, assessing effectiveness and identifying emerging risks.
• Analyze thematic insights from internal audits, risk events, and regulatory assessments to strengthen the control framework.
• Lead the identification, prioritization, and remediation of control deficiencies across the post-trade landscape.
• Partner with Operations leadership and the Controls Office to implement resilience and compliance strategies.
• Develop management information and executive reporting to provide visibility on control health and issue trends.
• Support transformation and platform change by integrating control-by-design principles into future operating models.

Requirements

• 8+ years of deep experience in Markets Operations (middle/back office) with a strong understanding of the post-trade lifecycle.
• Proven track record in overseeing trade reconciliation and driving the resolution of breaks to minimize risk.
• Strong experience operating within a first-line risk and control environment.
• Ability to manage audit findings, risk events, and regulatory issues through to successful closure.
• Knowledge of key Markets regulatory reporting and frameworks, including EMIR, MiFIR, and SFTR.
• Must be based in London to fulfill hybrid working requirements.
