Senior Associate-Consultant - Corporate Finance - Healthcare Transaction Advisory

Location: Nashville, TN; willingness to travel up to 25% when/if needed. Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Salary: $80,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and diligence engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, financial trend, working capital, benchmark, financial statement, business plan, and cash flow analyses.
• Identify purchase price adjustment issues and develop potential deal structuring insights.
• Delegate, supervise, and lead project work while collaborating with internal experts, other professional firms, and client contacts.
• Lead reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to marketing, client pitches, product and practice development, and client relationship building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel, including three-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop insights and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, stakeholders, and other professionals.
• Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn quickly, strong problem-solving and project-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing demands, and learn quickly.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% when/if needed.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• CFA, CPA or equivalent, and technical or GAAP accounting expertise.
• Experience with Big Data analysis, data visualization, and/or business intelligence tools.
• Ability to understand legal documents and complex agreements.
• Work experience in an established and widely accepted Transaction Advisory practice.
• Depth of knowledge of industry players, key industry drivers, and current trends.
