Location: Hybrid (Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote) in Greenwich, CT or New York, NY

Salary: $130,000–$170,000

What you will do

• Build cloud-native services using Python and Scala with frameworks like FastAPI and ZIO.
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests using Scala Test, ZIO Test, and PyTest.
• Design and implement highly performant, intuitive APIs to power the core platform.
• Collaborate with Product Management to detail requirements and review work in progress.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and perform peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in web-based application development.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Greenwich, CT or New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience and understanding of SSO (Single Sign-On) mechanisms.
