What you will do

• Define and execute quality strategy for a platform integrating voice, desktop, and AI intelligence.
• Design and maintain automation patterns, raising the technical bar for the quality engineering team.
• Implement fast-turnaround regression suites to support weekly production deployments.
• Perform load and stress testing on high-throughput, low-latency services.
• Collaborate with developers to isolate root causes and ensure graceful system degradation.
• Manage contract testing and synthetic data generation for complex, event-driven architectures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles with a proven track record of building test automation foundations from scratch.
• Deep expertise in testing event-driven systems, WebSocket flows, and browser extensions.
• Strong experience with CI/CD integration and managing test flakiness as a core discipline.
• Proficiency in load, stress, and soak testing for high-throughput systems.
• Ability to lead quality engineering functions while remaining hands-on with framework design.
• Must be based in Canada (Toronto, Ontario).

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI outputs and implementing eval-style assertions for LLM/ML features.
