What you will do

• Collaborate with software development teams to design comprehensive functional, regression, and performance test cases.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, Java, or scripting languages.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with detailed information for troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis and work with developers on corrective actions.
• Design and implement QA reporting tools, including automated report generation and interactive dashboards for QA metrics and defect trends.
• Streamline QA reporting data collection, processing, and presentation for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• 3rd or 4th year university student in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or scripting languages.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work on-site in Ottawa and provide latest citizenship and/or permanent residency information for U.S. Export Control compliance.
