Engineering Project Manager

Location: Hybrid, based in Morrisville, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Jamestown, North Carolina; or Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Travel to branch locations is required.

What you will do

• Lead multiple capital and operational projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safe delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, business justifications, risk plans, and leadership status updates.
• Provide engineering support for facility infrastructure, storage and handling systems, piping, pumps, fire protection systems, loading operations, and other critical assets.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, and service providers, including proposal reviews, procurement support, commissioning, startup, documentation, and closeout.
• Visit branch locations to assess facility needs, identify project opportunities, and support project development and execution.
• Partner with branch, operations, technical, and business stakeholders to improve facility reliability, safety, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of overall work experience.
• Current high proficiency in Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and delivery methodologies, or the ability to gain it rapidly.
• Ability to solve complex problems using new perspectives and to act as an expert in a functional, disciplinary, or business-unit area.
• Influential leadership, strong team facilitation, and the ability to achieve results through others and remove execution barriers.
• Ability to independently build effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and business partners.
• Ability to work autonomously in remote locations while coordinating several continuous improvement activities across multiple geographies and countries.
• Ability to teach and train continuous improvement courses, manage conflicting priorities, facilitate complex cross-functional process improvement teams, and communicate clearly.
• Very strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data, including root cause analysis, problem solving, and decision-making.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with MS Access and statistical software.
