What you will do

• Stabilize time and attendance processes in partnership with the global Payroll team.
• Lead the implementation of new People systems, such as Workday, for the Nordic hub and globally.
• Ensure Nordic operations comply with local employment laws (NAV) and align with global People processes.
• Manage the employee lifecycle and provide support for employee relations (ER) as the function is built.
• Build and document practical, scalable People Operations processes to support rapid growth.
• Act as the on-the-ground owner for the Nordic hub while supporting expansion in EMEA and North America.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in People Operations, preferably in a fast-growing tech startup or scale-up.
• Fluent Norwegian and holder of a Norwegian social security/D number.
• Strong working knowledge of Norwegian and Nordic employment law and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of implementing new People systems and working closely with Payroll.
• Startup mentality: comfortable with manual administrative tasks while building robust, automated systems.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across local and global People and Payroll teams.
