Senior Consultant, Associate and Engagement Manager (Private Equity Consulting)

Location: Boston, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Toronto; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

Base salary: $135,000–$240,000 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Support private equity investors throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification and commercial due diligence to post-transaction value realization.
• Execute workstreams by structuring problems, planning analyses, synthesizing findings, and communicating recommendations.
• Conduct and apply customer research using interviews, surveys, focus groups, and related techniques.
• Lead due diligence and post-transaction engagements as an Engagement Manager, ensuring insightful and data-driven results.
• Direct junior consultants, manage small project teams, and build strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Professional experience with commercial due diligence in a management consulting firm.
• Experience working in industrials within private equity.
• Strong strategic problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Initiative, creativity, and the ability to work fluidly and respectfully in a collaborative team.
