What you will do

• Design, construct, and oversee hirify.global’s global Funnel and DERP relay infrastructure.
• Drive operational excellence and automation to guarantee high availability and performance of hosted services.
• Provide architectural guidance and troubleshoot complex networking connectivity issues for customers.
• Contribute to open-source client code and develop the hirify.global product dataplane.
• Maintain live services through observability, incident management, and technical support escalations.
• Apply a security-centric approach to the design and implementation of all networking components.

Requirements

• Proven track record in networking software development and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in core networking principles: VPNs, NAT traversal, routing, and IP addressing.
• Experience with distributed systems, global-scale services, and SRE/DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in the Go programming language.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in a fast-paced startup environment.
