What you will do

• Evaluate and experiment with batch and streaming data engineering technologies to keep pace with industry innovation.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines to ingest semi-structured and unstructured data, including vehicle telemetry.
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects to extract features of interest for ML training and model execution.
• Code, test, deploy, and monitor scalable data engineering and analytic systems using automation.
• Contribute to the definition and refinement of processes and procedures for the data engineering practice.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with data engineering.
• Proficiency in distributed systems such as Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, Pulsar, or Flume.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates).
• Expertise in SQL and statistical programming tools like Python.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB) and Object Storage (S3, ADLS).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; must not require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience working with vehicle telemetry and auto insurance data.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with data governance tools like Atlan or Immuta.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) into workflows to improve efficiency.
