Salary: $130,000–$140,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Implement robust ETL/ELT workflows to transform raw data into reliable datasets.
• Develop cloud-native data architectures and maintain data warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and lineage across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on data initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering and platform development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern tools like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.
• Experience with distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
