Location: Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid environment in Toronto, ON or Saskatoon, SK.

Compensation: CAD $130,000–$180,000.

What you will do

• Design and ship scalable backend systems, data models, and agentic frameworks.
• Use AI as the primary delivery tool for building product, applying engineering judgment to validate outputs.
• Own technical projects from definition through design, build, and long-term support.
• Improve developer productivity by optimizing speed, cost efficiency, and MCP adoption.
• Set engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor developers on the squad through feedback and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Toronto, ON or Saskatoon, SK.
• Proven experience shipping and supporting production-grade software.
• Demonstrated history of MCP server usage and creation for orchestrated workflows.
• Strong AI fluency in delivery workflows with a consistent bar for quality.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate tradeoffs to cross-functional partners and leadership.
