What you will do

• Define, build, and support the system design and architecture for Ring IoT products.
• Develop embedded software using C/C++.
• Solve critical design issues involving algorithms and hardware/software/firmware interfaces.
• Participate in design reviews for complex embedded systems, simulations, and algorithms.
• Implement process improvements to enhance team agility in design, automation, and testing.
• Develop interoperability features, including system health monitoring and self-healing automation.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (excluding internships).
• Strong proficiency in embedded development using C/C++.
• Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.
• Experience designing or architecting systems with a focus on reliability and scaling.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cambridge, UK

Nice to have

• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and build processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
