TL;DR

Salary: $190,000 – $285,500 USD

What you will do

  • Lead proactive and reactive media engagement for the U.S. Program, coordinating pitches across trade, political, and national outlets.
  • Build and sustain a strategic network of reporters and influential voices in education, workforce, and technology.
  • Develop earned media strategies for announcements and research to translate complex content into compelling public narratives.
  • Manage executive communications for the USP President, including drafting remarks, op-eds, and staffing public appearances.
  • Provide strategic counsel and media training to colleagues for interviews and public speaking engagements.
  • Analyze media trends and establish benchmarks to advise communications strategy and report progress to leadership.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree or equivalent proven professional experience.
  • Significant experience in public relations and earned media with a track record of placements in premier national outlets.
  • Proven expertise in executive-level communications and briefing principals for media appearances.
  • Extensive knowledge of the U.S. education landscape, including key policy issues and federal policymakers.
  • Experience leading communications agencies and managing vendor deliverables.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the USA; no immigration sponsorship is available.
