What you will do

• Develop insights-driven US PR strategies aligned with business objectives for assigned therapy areas.
• Proactively engage media and influencers regarding clinical data and regulatory milestones.
• Maintain relationships with key reporters to secure positive and thoughtful news coverage.
• Lead issues preparedness, creating mitigation plans, scenario planning, and stakeholder training.
• Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical teams for the review and approval of assets.
• Manage agency relationships and budgets using clear KPIs and innovation drivers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic communications and proactive stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of clinical data and experience translating scientific content for broad audiences.
• Experience crafting consumer- and HCP-facing campaigns that drive behavior change.
• Proven capability in leading issues management and preparedness in a similar environment.
• Ability to influence senior leaders across diverse functions and geographical boundaries.
• Must be based in South San Francisco.
