What you will do

• Perform bring-up of new silicon on bench platforms, evaluation boards, and system hardware.
• Debug complex issues across ASIC, board, firmware, and system interactions.
• Develop bench tests, scripts, and tools using Python to exercise silicon features and collect data.
• Build and maintain lab automation, instrumentation, and test setups.
• Collaborate with ASIC designers to validate functionality and root-cause failures.
• Generate and analyze data to support design decisions, characterization, and early manufacturing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in silicon validation, hardware test, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in lab environments, including bench bring-up and debugging.
• Solid understanding of digital systems and basic analog concepts.
• Proficiency in Python for test and data analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to labs in Oakland, CA or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASIC or FPGA bring-up and validation.
• Familiarity with common interfaces such as SPI, I2C, JTAG, and UART.
• Expertise using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Exposure to high-performance, power-dense systems like mining ASICs or accelerators.
• Experience building test automation or internal tooling.
