What you will do

• Lead US public policy and government relations strategy to advance the mission of economic empowerment.
• Identify and influence legislative and regulatory developments in payments, banking, digital assets, and consumer protection.
• Develop thought leadership content and narratives on financial inclusion and the future of digital finance.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior policymakers and agencies including the FDIC, CFPB, OCC, and SEC.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and product teams to align policy strategy with business objectives and manage regulatory risk.
• Manage a high-performing regional policy team and coordinate with external advisors and lobbyists.

Requirements

• 15+ years of public policy experience, with a preference for experience in the US government, financial services, or technology sectors.
• 10+ years of experience managing teams of policy professionals, including budgeting and strategic planning.
• Strong background in advocacy and public policy development pertaining to global financial services.
• Proven success building high-performing teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder advocacy campaigns.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex regulatory and technical concepts for various audiences.
