Salary: $140,000 - $210,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of major systems and features for tax solutions using web and cloud technologies.
• Review business requirements for technical feasibility and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.
• Mentor junior engineers to enhance code quality, performance, and adherence to industry standards.
• Maintain tax products and platforms based on product roadmaps and compliance mandates.
• Champion secure coding practices and lead efforts to reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, or Accounting.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with the full Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET, HTML, and JS frameworks like Angular or React).
• 6+ years of experience developing stored procedures and database schemas using SQL Server, Azure SQL, or NoSQL.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment across designated US locations.
• Strong proficiency in software design, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and automating CI/CD/DevOps pipelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and the Azure Portal.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MTA, MCSD, or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Power BI, PowerApps, and Azure Functions.
