What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture of distributed, cloud-native systems using AWS.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into shippable technical plans and Architecture Decision Records.
• Lead the design, build, and deployment of complex, performant software solutions in production.
• Raise the technical bar through code reviews, design critiques, and active mentorship of team members.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical and business goals.

Requirements

• English: C1 level or higher required
• Must be based in Colombia
• Extensive professional experience in software development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven experience leading the design and architecture of scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience or strong passion for Generative AI and AI agents.
• Experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience with AI tooling like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
