What you will do

• Design and develop scalable AI systems to solve the variability problem in healthcare data received from external sources.
• Implement secure, maintainable, and performant solutions to automate the standing up of new data feeds.
• Partner with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers through thorough pull request reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• BS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in backend or data engineering development within cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL on large multi-table data sets.
• 3+ years of experience as a technical decision-maker and coaching other engineers.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with health-tech systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical data.
• Proficiency in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Expertise in statistical data techniques, including NLP, causal inference, and syntactic analysis.
• 1+ years of experience with AI SDKs, prompt engineering, tool calling, vector databases, or RAG.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
