What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and specialist psychological expertise regarding Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
• Lead the development of evidence-informed practices across the Local Authority.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and children's services to improve attendance and educational outcomes.
• Develop inclusive systems and graduated approaches for early identification and intervention.
• Line manage a team of 6 Assistant Educational Psychologists.
• Contribute to a multi-professional "Team Around the School" model alongside therapists and advisory teachers.

Requirements

• Experienced Educational Psychologist (EP).
• Specialist interest and expertise in SEMH and EBSA.
• Commitment to anti-racist practice.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Romford for hybrid work.
