TL;DR
Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise Networking): Implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions with an accent on routing, wireless communications, security, and multi-tier technical designs. Focus on evaluating complex network systems, integrating technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, VPN, and load balancing, and leading maintenance, incident, and on-call activities.
Location: MI - Zeeland Mainsite Corporate Center, United States. The role includes 5–10% travel or travel as needed, after-hours support, maintenance windows, incidents, and on-call responsibilities.

What you will do
- Implement, optimize, and support enterprise-level IT infrastructure and multi-tier network solutions.
- Evaluate complex network systems and recommend improvements aligned with strategic network goals.
- Drive technical solutions, IT best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain network documentation while overseeing small-to-medium project budgets.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and communicate complex technical information across business levels.
- Mentor global talent and support technology evaluations and integrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional IT experience and 3 years of participation on project teams.
- Experience with global enterprise network environments and global projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Ethernet, WAN, routing, TCP/IP, voice, and wireless communications.
- Experience with switches, routers, wireless networks, wireless authentication, remote access, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, load balancing, DNS, and network management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Must meet United States employment eligibility requirements; the organization participates in E-Verify.
Nice to have
- Cisco CCNP, AWS, or Fortinet certification.
- Experience with Cisco/Meraki, Cisco ISE, FortiClient, FortiGate, FortiADC, Infoblox, and Wireshark.
