What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
• Automate cloud operations and infrastructure for product suites on GCP and other providers using Infrastructure as Code.
• Maintain consistency and reliability while ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements like HIPAA and GDPR.
• Reduce operational toil by developing self-service workflows and automation.
• Establish observability systems to monitor production and lead incident management to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with software and hardware developers, data scientists, and security teams to evangelize cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Jenkins).
• 1+ years of experience with programming/scripting (Go, Python, Shell).
• 1+ years of experience in observability and incident management for high-availability systems.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) with deep understanding of internals.
• Familiarity with IaC actuation tools like Atlantis or Terraform Cloud.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
