What you will do

• Support inventors in preparing and evaluating invention disclosures and leading internal review meetings.
• Draft patent applications in collaboration with inventors and external counsel.
• Conduct prior art, patentability, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches using patent databases.
• Manage the prosecution of the patent portfolio and coordinate responses to office actions worldwide.
• Track filing deadlines, maintenance fees, and procedural milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience using AI tools (LLMs) for research, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking and precise technical writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with R&D, legal, and business teams.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an IP department or patent law firm.
• Knowledge of European, PCT, and international patent systems (EPO, WIPO).
• Familiarity with patent search databases like Espacenet or Minesoft Origin.
• Technical background in space systems, satellite communications, or 3GPP 4G/5G.
