What you will do

• Build and maintain internal tools, services, APIs, and command-line applications.
• Improve workflows across coding, testing, code review, deployment, and production operations.
• Create service templates and paved roads to ensure software is secure, observable, and reliable.
• Enhance the speed, reliability, and usability of CI/CD systems.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities accessible to product engineers via self-service.
• Implement observability defaults for logs, metrics, traces, and service-level indicators.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience in designing, building, and operating production software.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Practical experience improving the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to design maintainable systems and make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality.
• Exposure to CI/CD, containers, or cloud infrastructure.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in London.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Background in building internal developer platforms, portals, or CLIs.
• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or SigNoz.
• Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
• Production support or on-call experience.
